La Madeleine, their to-go sales were skyrocketing as a side effect of global quarantine and the world we live in today. I wanted to take three popular items that they sold more normally than others and design a housing environment for those items and make an appealing message that I feel, fits the La Madeleine aesthetic. Taking elevated French cuisine and taking it to-go. Coffee is a staple for La Madeleine and coffee to-go is already an incredible business.
Another popular item at La Madeleine is the quiche, Florentine. A quiche is a flaky tart, made from cheese spinach, herbs, cream, and eggs. I was designing around the idea of a French Country and that’s what lead me to use these delicate details in the border of the design. These advertisements I imagine they’d be magazine advertisements or simply on a sign outside their establishment, or possibly within a mall where La Madeleine is located. They’ve also expanded out into some Walmart stores replacing McDonald’s or Subways, so seeing something like this near a Walmart where La Madeleine has entered the market wouldn’t be surprising.
